David Stewart, Managing Director
David has been active in the property market for nearly 20 years. David entered the market in 1989 at the age of 24 by purchasing a row of run down terraced houses that were renovated and sold on for profit. David has then gone onto to build a residential investment property portfolio.
Over the past six years David has been heavily involved in building a residential block management business which now includes blocks in Nottingham, Lincoln and Manchester.
David has gradually developed a client base of residential property landlords. Having experienced firsthand, poor property lettings & management services from other lettings agents, as a professional landlord, he believes there is an opportunity to provide a more dynamic and client focused lettings ‘offer’.
James Syson, Customer Development Manager
James has been a residential landlord since 1997. In 2004, building a residential property portfolio became a full time job. In addition to building his own residential property portfolio James formed a company to source buy to let investments for clients and during 2005-2009, sourcing in excess of 100+ properties for clients. James also bought and sold residential properties for profit (including developing) in the East Midlands, Scotland and the London area. James continues to source residential property for medium to long term investment purposes and for ‘buy to sell’.
In more recent times James has been involved in and has helped leasehold apartment block owners gain control over block management and selecting new block management companies where required and helping to settle service charge disputes either through direct negotiation with freeholders and incumbent management companies or via the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal. James also serves as a director on a number of ‘Right to Manage Ltd company boards relating to residential apartment blocks.
James, like David Stewart, has a number of year’s experience of letting and managing a large part of his residential portfolio.
